For over 17 years mineral collecting and supply has been our passion. These include among many copper cathode, Gold, Quartz.
Mineral Characterization & Impurities:
- Quartz: Studies use cathodoluminescence (CL) and laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) to examine trace elements in hydrothermal quartz to determine the physicochemical conditions (temperature, pressure) of gold deposition.
- Gold: Research explores the mineralogy of high-copper gold, which can form as an oxidation product of Cu-Au-Fe tellurides (e.g., cuprian gold or auricupride).
- Copper Cathodes/Ores: Literature covers copper metallurgy and its resistance to corrosion, noting its use in both industrial applications and its historical significance, including in ancient alloys.
